Wildfowling is the British term for that branch of shooting that the Americans call "waterfowling" and it covers duck hunting and goose shooting. In traditional UK terms it is the pursuit of wild ducks and geese below high water mark but, nowadays, it sometimes also includes inland shooting, either on flight ponds or over decoys.

The richest source of information about Wildfowling in Britain is on the Wildfowling website which has full details of quarry species, shooting seasons and links to the main wildfowling clubs throughout the Britain.
